How long does it take for an item to be shipped from China?

I just ordered something from a Chinese website, but as it's my first order, I don't know anything about shipping time. It's a small package, and the store says that the arrival time depends on the shipping method and the customs clearance.
How long does shipping from China to the US take? Is there a way to track my order? Thanks.

Standard shipping from China usually takes around two months, with some packages arriving earlier and some even later than that. Depending on which freight company the seller used, you may receive a tracking code on the order page that you can then use to see where your package is currently.
