What are some unique modes of transportation for exploring Europe?

So, I know this may sound confusing, but I know some cities have bikes you can rent, scooters, horse carriages, and stuff like that. I would like to know more about those because they seem more fun than public transport. What are some unique ways I can travel when sightseeing in Europe?

Europe certainly has many unique cultures with special modes of transportation. Scooters are fun to drive around and you should rent one if you get the chance, but what about riding a reindeer sleigh in Finland like Santa Claus or floating in an aerial tram in Germany? Research where you're going and see what they have to offer.
