So, I know how it works in online stores when you are buying physical items or specific services, but how does it work for traveling? After all, there are so many individual things you're spending money on, from transport to food, what does cashback apply to? How do I benefit from it?

That's a big questing that I am going to give a very brief answer to. When traveling, cashback works much the same as it would in any other retail situation you have previously found yourself in.

You can get cash back on just about everything, including:
Flights
Hotel stays
Meals at certain restaurants
Local transport
Tours and travel activities

With such high competition for people's attention, many businesses offer cashback or rewards to loyal customers. Combine this with a credit card reward system, airline loyalty programs, and a few cashback websites, and you are well on your way to a significantly cheaper holiday.
